

Welcome to the Monroe Police Department's website. Our purpose for creating this site is to give you a clear view into the workings of our department. We encourage you to view the site in it's entirety and provide us with feedback. During your visit here you will have an opportunity to get to know our Supervisors, Officers, and Dispatchers. You can also become familiar with the many community oriented programs offered by the Monroe Police Department such as our Dare Program, Crime Prevention, Are You OK? and Child Passenger Safety. There is also a description of some of our specialized units. The Monroe Police Department is committed to providing our village residents with the most professional and courteous police service possible. About Chief Giudice
Chief Giudice came to Monroe in 1981 as a Patrolman and worked his way up to Patrol Sergeant and then Chief after serving as a Police Officer for the Town of Blooming Grove and Village of Washingtonville Police Departments. Prior to becoming a Municipal Police Officer, he was a Military Policeman with the United States Army, stationed in West Point, NY. Chief Giudice is also a graduate from the F.B.I. National Academy, Quantico, VA. He is the Past President of the New York State Police Chief's Association and is currently serving as President of the Orange County Police Chief's Association, a position he also held in the past.
