Our Detective Unit is currently staffed by two detectives. They are responsible for following up on cases that are complex in nature, all major crimes, drug investigations, internal investigations, background checks, processing crime scenes and other duties as assigned. Our Detectives are highly trained and do an outstanding job.
Detective Patrick Tenaglia
Detective Tenaglia spent 7 1/2 years in the United States Army as a Military Police Combat Support Soldier. He started with the Orange County Sheriff's Office in 2006 and transferred to the Monroe Police Department in 2008. He is also a Police Instructor and a field training officer. He was promoted to Detective in 2013.
Detective David Lee
Detective Lee started his career in 1994 with the New York City Police Department before transferring to the Village of Chester Police Department. In 2006, he transferred to the Village of Monroe Police Department. Detective Lee served in the United States Marine Corp. prior to becoming a Police Officer.
