Police Officers who have retired from the Monroe Police Department after dedicating 20 or more years of police service.

 

John Flood - Sergeant

Sergeant Flood started his career with the Village of Washingtonville Police Department and joined the Monroe Police Department in 1981.  Sergeant Flood retired in 2006 after 25 years of dedicated police service.

William Scheels -  Police Officer

 Officer Scheels started his career with the Village of Tuxedo Park Police Department and joined the Monroe Police Department in 1984.  Officer Scheels retired in 2007 after 23 years of dedicated police service.

Dennis Gomas - Police Officer

Officer Gomas started his career in 1989 with the Village of Greenwood Lake Police Department and joined the Monroe Police Department in 2002.  Officer Gomas retired in 2009 after 20 years of police service.

Gregory Witte -Police Officer 

Officer Witte started his career in 1989 with the Town of Woodbury Police Department and he joined the Monroe Police Department in 1990.  Officer Witte retired in 2009 after completing 20 years of dedicated service.

Andrew Meislahn - Sergeant

Sergeant Meislahn started his career with the Village of Warwick Police Department and left there for the Village of Spring Valley Police Department.  He joined the Monroe Police Department in 1987 and was promoted to Sergeant in 1988.  Sergeant Meislahn retired after committing 25 years to Law Enforcement.  He also served for the United States Marine Corp. prior to becoming a Police Officer.
