The Monroe Police Department currently has two Detectives assigned to the the Detective Unit.   The Detectives are assigned to investigate all major crimes, unattended deaths, serious motor vehicle accidents and minor crimes that require more time than patrol can reasonably provide.  Detectives may also be assigned to investigate non-criminal cases of a complex or time consuming nature.  To contact the Detective Unit call the main desk at (845)782-8644 or email Detective James Frankild at j.frankild@monroepd.org  or Detective Dave Conklin at d.conklin@monroepd.org
