Larceny from Valero Gas Station

The Monroe Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred on April 3, 2008 at approximately 11:45 PM at the Valero Gas Station on Route 208.  Three Black males entered the store and while two of the subjects distracted the store clerk, the third subject reached over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash and all three left the store.  They were operating a Dark colored 4 door compact car, possibly a Chevy Prism.  If anyone recognizes these subjects are urged to call the Monroe Police TIPS line at (845) 492-TIPS (492-8477).  All calls will remain confidential.

Residential Burglaries

Two homes on Gilbert Street were burglarized recently.  During one of the burglaries an X-Box 360, Playstation 3 and several games and DVD movies were taken.

Commercial Burglary

In February 2008, La Vera Cucina Restaurant was burglarized.  Unknown subject(s) broke a window and gained entry into the restaurants office.  The window was alarmed and surveillance video captured images of one male subject.  The video images are being enhanced at this time to help with identifying the subject.
